I'm apt to concentrate on the captions rather than voices,for I have little confidence with my listening abilities,though I hoped it would be helpful for improvement of my listening ability.😥



I could enjoy watching a few videos with only English,though sometimes I had to rewind them in order to watch the captions again, for they were too fast to understand😥


If I watch　at　least　videos 10.0000 times at least,my listening ability may improve. I'm almost overwhelmed by it😫

【English as a international langage】



It was　once said liked that a decade ago.『If we can't pronounce like the British and American people, it means our English isn't considered a real thing forever.』😤


Nowadays, English of Indian,Chinese,French,Germany, and Japanese,they are decent English.We Japanese have been trying to pronouece exactly like the British and American. As a result,We have been a waste of time and energy so much.😣


When hearing other Japanese speaking English,we Japanese were apt to think like that.『Its English is poor』😒



Contrary to it,hearing returnee children帰国子女 speaking fluent English,we Japanese were forced to show loothing frankly. We seemed to used to be warped屈折😠


We don't have to be worrid about it amy longer.😁



Needless to say,both American English and British one are standard,moreover there are some rules which we should obey to a minimum as long as we speak English😚

【How to pronounce】


As to　『R』and『L』,　even if it is hard to recognize the difference between them,it　seems to be relatively easy to speak exactly,maybe.😚


Though lots of people have already know it, I'm going to express how to pronounce.😳


When we pronounce 『L』,we should try to do like next one.Our tongues touch the root of upper teeth.The　pronunciation is　similar to Japanese 『ﾗﾘﾙﾚﾛ』,if we Japanese speak 『L』and　『R』　unconsciously,native speakers hear us speak only 『L』.😱



When we pronounce 『R』we should do　like next one.Our tongues try not touch anywhere in the mouths.🔤


As for 『th』,I'm sure lots of people learned it in school,thouhh I've never known it until just now,our tongues try to touch the tip of the upper mouth.😃


As for 『F andV』our upper teeth touch to the lower lips.As to 『P,T　and　C 』,we say it is hard for us to pronounce exactly.The pronunciation of them is called explosive sound.😃

【How to pronounce and others】


As for the explosion sounds,for example,when we say 『post』we　usually pronounce its first sound 『po』 unconsciously,but we should do as we breathe out.🔤


I've expressed about some consonants so far, English has 11 vowels.Contrary to it Japanese has five vowels.As for English vowels,to be exact there are lots of things　of which we should be careful,but it seems that we don't have to mind them except for only two vowels. I want to express them, but we can't express phonetic symbol 発音記号 in cellphones.📱


While I've expressed English pronunciation, I can't always pronounce exactly. I have little chance to talk with others in English,so I don't feel like studying the pronunciation so seriously,so my remarks may　not　be persuasive at all.😳

【A haunted house お化け屋敷 in Kansai region】


There are a variety of difference between Kansai and Kantou region. It reaches to a haunted house.👻


While in Tokyo some grown-ups are frighted of the haunted house and enjoy it as an amusement,in Kansai region other people flatly deny　a ghost and make light of it and say『Ghost?that could not be』😜


Some haunted houses think up various devices to attract lots of audience.For example,one of devices　is next one. The house lets the audience　make　up some groups. The house lets each of the group go into the house,hnlding one long rope as a lifeline 命綱 for each of the members.👻


While the people in the Kantou people accept the instruction of the house without objecting,the people in Kansai region usually refuse to hold the rope. They say like that.『Why do we have to do it?』😜


There are varied small tools which arise fear of the audience in the house, but they are apt to be breakdown in Kansai region😱

【French cook in Oosaka prefecture】



In Tokyo,peole stand in a long line at a restaurant which was broadcast in TV. They　seem to don't mind at all even if they will have been waiting for meal for　no　less　than 30 minutes.🍴


Contrary to it,other people in Oosaka prefecture can't understand why people in Tokyo can wait for a meal so long,for they are impatient いらち,moreover they don't make much of being broadcast on TV. I'me sure they say “So what?”😒



It may be one of the reasons the people in Oosaka have never accepted French dish for a long time.💡


In Tokyo,being broadcast on TV,or　picked up with magazine,they are apt to satisfied with its dish even if they don't feel tasty.😣


Contrary to it,people in Oosaka doesn't matter French dish. If they try it and it doesn't suit their taste, it's just oily food,so they will refuse to eat, moreover they say clearly not only whether or not it's tasty,but whether or not it's reasonable.🍴

【A kind of jumps of a figure skating】


Roughly speaking,jumps of figure skating are two.🎿



The one is what is called toe jump.A skater plants its toe the ice and jumps.（ﾙｯﾂ､ﾌﾘｯﾌﾟand toe loop)As for　the ones which are expressed with the angular Japanese phoenetic syllably カタカナ, I don't know its spelling😣


The other jumps are what is called edge jump.（axel,loopand　ｻﾙｺｳ） Without using its toe, the skater jumps.🎿



Paying attention to a way of using its toe,we will recognize some jumps easily.The hardest one is axel,and the second hardest is ﾙｯﾂ and followed by ﾌﾘｯﾌﾟ､loop,ｻﾙｺｳ. I'm going to express axel🎿



While the axel is the hardest of the six kinds of jumps,we audience can recognize　ij easily, for the skater takes off ,facing the audience and lands,being its back to the audience.🎿


As for the other jumps,we count them 1 revolution,2 revolution and so on.Contrary to it,as to axel we have to add a word of『 half』to the revolution.😃

People in the Kansai region love to eat whale meats in the world. If I say like it,the Western countries and some organization which appeal to stop catching whales may disguise my remark.😚



In fact,people in the Kansai region　used to　eat　about　70％　of　the　whale meats in Japan when its distribution was done freely🐳



The　price of whale meat is high, but it used to be a popular food,especially what is called koro ,it means back skin of a whale,was reasonable, moreover it tasted as an ingredient of oden.🐳



Hot pot cooked at the table 鍋料理 of whale meat used to be cooked in Kansai region in winter. It's what they call Harihari nabe.🍲


The　harihari is next one. Its soup stock ダシ is cooked in sea tangle 昆布 and dried bonito shavings 鰹節.People in the　Kansai　region　simmer煮込む　meat of a tail of a whale and its back skin,koro and sometimes saezuri,a tongue of the whale.🍲

【What is called doteyaki in Kansai region】


Oosaka prefecture,which people spend a lot of money on food,食い倒れ,has plenty of grilled dishes such as takoyaki,okonomiyaki and ikayaki,especially there is another local specialty therd.I'm sure they say without eating it,they don't think they want others to pretend as if they were gourmets. It's doteyaki.🐮



An ingredient of sinew of cow is seasoned with miso,though it's different from what is called a stewed dish of Tokyo and Nagoya.🐮


Doteyaki is next one.Cow's　skewered snew is grilled and at the same time simmered　with　soup　stock　which is seasoning　with miso.Then a iron plate with its edge a little high is adopted lest the soup stock should spills.🐮

At first,the meat of doteyaki is only sinewsすじ of cow.Guts もつ of cow is not adopted.When ordering it,customes say,for example,3 doteyaki,for each sinew is skewered 串打ち.Contrary to it,stewed dish is served with platter大皿🏯



The　second character is next.There are some ingredients in the stewed dish,for example,konnyaku,Japanese white raddish大根 ,and tofu,but doteyaki is only meat of sinews of cows.🐮



The third. The soup stock ダシ of doteyaki is 白味噌,but赤味噌　is　adopted in the stewed dish.In addition,as for the soup stock, doteyaki is barely covered with the soup stock,so the soup stock soon evaporates,therefore soup stock has to be added to the doteyaki frequently.😱



The additions have to be done once from 3　to　4　minutes. It means a shop assistant under contract to the doteyaki needs.🐮

Some American translated 『魔球』into a voodoo pitch. He said there is no word which is correspondent with the 『魔球』,so he said like that.⚾


Actually,when playing baseball,as for a breaking ball 変化球 such as a knuckle ball and forkball,which is thrown magically and tremendously, it means the ball changes its direction extremely more than we expect,it is said that they usually express like next.⚾

【SF】



Needless to say, SF is an abbreviation of Science Fiction,but when hearing the phrase of『SF』,some　English native speakers don't always recognize the abbreviation　I'm　wondering.😱


Actually when hearing 『SF』,science fiction didn't occur to a　native　speaker, but　three other things hit him.😚


1 San Francisco Giants. It's American baseball team.


2 Super famicon.He said there was actually an movie of Super Mario.


3 Sacrifice fly 犠牲フライ It's a kind of technique of baseball.



In　short　in English,science fiction isn't expressed as 『SF』. It's abbreviated 『Sci-Fi』and it is pronounced ｻｲﾌｧｲ.🐙

【Braindead】


What is braindead? Its　definition seems to be easy, but it's hard　in　fact.At first,there used to be an argument that braindead meant the human was dead.💀



Fortunately or not,if　our brain doesn't function,our heart doesn't always do. Even if　our brain never function voluntarily,an artificial equipments of revival functioning of the heart and lungs makes us be alive.😒


We can be alive as if we slept,literally.Sleeping eternallx used to mean death of our body, but as　long　as　the equipment functions, it　can　keep warmth of our body　with modern medical technology.😲


In short,to be exact,sleeping eternally doesn't always mean death of body, but remains it,there seem to be plenty　of troubles.😥


Even if one's heart functions,if neither　its brain function nor　the　one wakes up from the eternal sleeping,we should regard the sleeping death of the real　dead. It's an idea of braindead.🌠

【Christmas for we Japanese 】



Christmas means a massﾐｻ　of Christ.The mass is gathering for service礼拝.Therefore,　needless to　say, the Christmas is originally very religious event.🎄

I used to make parts of automobile,mainly　for Honda Co., but the factory of the Honda itself hasn't started producing properly,for　some factories which produce its parts are in Tohoku area,so the Honda can't get　several parts.🚗

Contrary to it,temporary housing is urgent business for the people in the Tohoku area.Some of members of my temporary company go to another factory so as to make a breaker of the temporary housing. 【A book of 菊と刀】



When reading a book,its author cited from 【菊と刀】 like that. I'm going to express it from now on.😃


Being worried about public eye　too　much and feared to be excluded from some groups extremely,the Japanese are always paying　the very attention and behave themselves lest hurt others.😒



As the Japanese always take heed of the others around them,they tend to be tired,so they　are often absorbed in trifle or artless 無邪気 fun in order to relive themselves which are suppressed because of paying attention. It's creating chrysanthemum 菊.🌼


Its author visited　a　festival of　chrysanthemum　figure in Hirakata park. It doesn't mean the one who wrote the 【【菊と刀】, so I'm wondering creating mum 菊 means making its figure in this situation.😃
