…even if some feet are in the air,it can keep its balance with its other feet on the ground. For example,in a big city which was collapsed immediately after a big earthquake,it can move at will there.

We’ve expected greatly that the way of walking with no foot with a view of point that it can move at will even if it falls into every kind of hard situation,though it has never been completed technically.

For example,as to the robot which moves as if it were a snake, as long as there is a small space for its head,it can pass through debris and obstacles,and reach the inner part.

If we can imitate the structure on movement for the snake completely,the robot will be able to slide up on to a electric light pole or a tree. Even in a marshy place or sandy soil where our feet are likely to sink, it may be able to move as if it slided.
