There is nothing wrong if you want to help with the chores to reduce the burden. However, make sure that it is cleared between the both of you to avoid misunderstandings. In a relationship, make sure to talk things out and make sure that both agree on the same terms. This is because it might be difficult to move around each other if you do not agree. After all, you are bounded by marriage and you should help each other. There is also nothing wrong if you divide the work to lessen the burden on both sides.
