【Comoro】

《An island where a coelacanth lives》

Speaking of Comoro,it's famous for an island where plenty of coelacanthes inhabit.We used to think that the ancient fish appeared in the Paleozoic era 古生代,about 0.4 billion years ago,and it became extinct at the end of the Mesozoic era 中生代,about 65 million years ago.🐡

However,the first ones were captured in the Indian Ocean of African southeast area in 1938,the second ones Comoro islands in 1954.🐡

After that,a lot of the coelacanthes were captured around the Comoro islands.They were also caught off an island in Indonesia.😃

The area of sea where the fish inhabits has certainly a submarine volcano,it seems to be a key which solves the mystery of the ancient fish,but depth of water where the fish lives is so deep there has been little knowledge on the coelacanth.Its depth reaches more than 100 meters.🐡

I'm wondering if the fish is suitable for food,for I feel hungry.I want to eat something tasty.☺
