【Difference between what is called 巻き寿司 and 海苔巻き】

Whether or not the toasted laver is adopted is deeply related the timing when we eat the 巻き寿司 or 海苔巻き.🍣

Without spending on time so much,we have to eat the 海苔巻き after it is prepared in order to enjoy its tough ﾊﾟﾘﾊﾟﾘする and aroma of the toasted laven.😃

Contrary to it,the 太巻き in Kansai region used to be for the ones which the people took with them for a theater or a pleasure resort 行楽地,so they were liable to eat the 太巻き after time had passed so much,therefore the toasted laver was meaningless.😣

On the other hand, as to the 海苔巻き of Kanto way,the people ate it at once after it was prepared.so they learned to pass laver lightly over a flame.🔥

By the way,at the Kansai region where the 太巻き is mainly eaten,there is cucumber and vinegared rice rolled in a sheet of laver かっぱ巻き.🍣

It has only a single ingredient,besides it's thin,so some people may think it was contrived in the Kanto region, but it was invented in Kansai region.😁
