Papua New Guinea which was one of sites of a hard fought battle in the Pacific War is one of familiar islands for us the Japanese.🇯�

Japanese government built some tombstones for the war dead in the country,and the wreckage of a plane or tank has been left in the upper reaches 奥地 in its jungle.✈

Rabaul has been sung in a Japanese war song.It's just one of town in Papua New Guinea,but it seems that plenty of Japanese old people are apt to long for Rabaul rather than its homeland,though I'm not so old.😚

Japanese army used to attack the Pearl harbor,and the military gain 戦果 spurted the Japanese army to fight so much that the army invaded into Rabaul where there was Australian administrative organ,for the place was blessed with natural good harbors.The place became an important spot strategically in the South Pacific Ocean.🌴
