【Germany was divided into east and west】

［The opposition over currency reform］

The two countries tred to control the amount of the bill and to suppress the inflation. Its aim was the revival for the German economy.

On the other hand, Soviet thouth that it wanted to get the whole Berlin and planed to issue originanl currecy by Soviet in Berlin alone.

The way of Soviet repelled America and England,and the two countries decided to issue their original currency June in 1948. The currency could be used not only in the Western Germany but in the western area of Berlin.

Soviet was angry with it and tried to stop issuing their currency. The country responded that it blockaded the western area in Berlin where America, England, and France occupied.

Both Berlin and eastern area in Berlin were in the place where Soviet occupied, so the western area in Berlin became a isolated island on the land as if it have floated in..
