《The control rod.》

It's the control rod which actually controls a number of neutrons in a nuclear reactor.😃

The control rod is made from material which absorbs the neutrons.Its shape looks like a stick.It's inserted into the fuel made of mass of uranium.😃

We can make the control rod move in the fuel.The deeper the control rod is inserted,the more it absorbs the neutrons,so the reaction of atomic fission become less.🙆

Contrary to it,if pulling it out of the fuel,the reaction becomes more violent.We can control its depth at will.😃

When an unexpected accident happens in the atomic reactor,a starting device for emergency works instantly, all the control rods are set in the fuel.Then both the atomic reactor and the reaction of atomic fission stop perfectly.🙆

However,fission product 核生成物質 in the fuel continues to collapse,even if the atomic reactor doesn't run at all,the fission product go on emitting heat.In short,it isn't always safe,I'm wondering.
