It has to be supplied electric power from its outside in order to function.😚

Contrary to it,without being supplied electric power,the electronics devices of passivity such as a resistor or condensor can work for itself.👍

There are some materials in which electrical power flows a little.For example,they are silicon,germanium and so on.We call them semiconductors.😃

Some electronics parts such as diode,transistor,or IC take advantage of the semiconductors.We call the electronics parts themselves semiconductors.😺
