【Being under a starlit sky.】

We call the full moon of the 15th of August in the lunar calendar what is called 十五夜.The 十五夜 happens to be in September or even in October in the solar calendar.🌙

The moon has been considered to be the place where the god lives in China since the ancient time,It has been the custom in China to offer fruits for the moon,and to eat what we call 月餅.🍡

The custom was introduced into Japan from China,so we've learned to offer a dumpling 団子, Japanese pampas grass すすき,taro 里芋 and vegetable for the moon.We call a night with a full moon 十五夜 the harvest moon concerned the taro.🌙

We also call the full moon 望月.The 望月 is connected with mochi,rice cake,so something happy happens to us,we've learned to eat the rice cake.New Year's Day 正月元旦 is exactly in the time of eating the rice cake⭐
