《An experiment of the amount of the criticality.》

A good experimental way for the amount of the criticality was contrived.We make a little vertical hole bored through a big lump of uranium.Then we fall a tiny grain of the uranium through the hole.😃

It means that the amount of the uranium increases at the moment when the grain falls through the hole.If the lump reaches the criticality,amount of the neutrons around the hole increases rapidly.😃

The measurement was being repeated over and over again, changing the amount of the grain of the uranium little by little.😃

《It were as if we stepped a dragon on the tail…》

While the experiment is skillful and prudent,it's terribly dangerous,for if the criticality continues longer unexpectedly,even if an explosion won't bring about,large amount of neutrons will be released,and they'll be harmful to the experimenter's health.If the worst come to worst,it'll be dead.💀
