When the meltdown breaks out,the temperature of the nuclear fuel is 2800℃,so if it falls on the bottom of the pressurized container then,it will easily prevent the pressurized container from running,and there is a possibility of of a disaster.

Moreover,there are plumbings 配管 which make the control rod work at the bottom of the pressurized container.Joints of the plumbings will be damaged.
