【We can't see them in any other areas.They're plants and animals peculiar to Ogasawara islands】

Plenty of the plants and animals have evolved originally in the Ogasawara islands.When visiting there,we may come across valuable nature.☺

The Ogasawara Islands are the marine ones,so the plants and animals have accomplished their original evolutions in the little islands.Therefore a lot of them become so peculiar to the islands that they form unique ecosystem.😃

For example,there are two kinds of flowers.The one spreads into wide area,and the other is peculiar to the islands.🎀

They resemble each other,but the peculiar ones turn their own leaves into small and thick so as to adapt the environment around them.We think the peculiar ones have evolved from other ones which have spread in the wide area.🌹

One of features in the original ecosystem is we can see plenty of examples of what is called 適応放散.☝
