Continuation of last remark.


The weak point of the two-wheeled vehicle was the main point what Moses needed to focus on.🙋



When the party of the two-wheeled vehicles ran after the Israelites,they ran away to the swamp which was beside the sea.🐎


Almost all of scholars think the sea wasn't the Red Sea but a lake which they called the sea of reed あし then.🌴


The lake seemed to be ティムサ where the Suez Canal flows through at present.😃


The Egyptian party of two-vehicles seemed to sink into the swamp and couldn't move at all,so they were forced to give up a chase.😚


As for a story that all of the Egyptian armies were drowned in the sea,it seemed the Israelites exaggerated it.😒


There is an expression that『the Pharaoh hitched horses to the two-wheeled vehicles and led his armies ……』in the Bible,but it was doubtful whether ラムセス Ⅱ went in person.☝

Continuation of last remark.


When knowing the Israelites ran away into the Sinai Peninsula which was sterile,ラムセス Ⅱ didn't seem to send a search-and-destroy unit 追討部隊 any more.😚


By the way,Moses had often been to the Asia since he was young. It's described in the Bible minutely.He must have known the neighborhood very well before he led a mass group and ran away.😃



As for the number of the Israelites,it was ０．６ million,according to the Bible,but it's said they were a few thousand at the most.😃



As to leading nomadic life 遊牧生活 at the Sinai Peninsula,leading lots of people,Moses had a hard time.Then Moses received the Ten Commandments 十戒 from the God at the Mt.Sinai.☝


When being in Egypt,there were plenty of people who were affected by evil customs of idol worship 偶像崇拝,so Moses had to correct spiritual lives of the Israelites.😤

It was this time when the Israelites really strengthened their faith of a monotheism 一神教 which was rare then.💡



It's said another monothesis of Egypt,what is called a faith for ｱﾃﾝ became a hint for the Israelites.🙋



The Israelites finally secured their own territory from a promise which the God gave them when ﾖｼｭｱ became a successor of Moses.🙌



It's a corner of the Palestine where there were lots of cow's milk and honey,but there was already a tough aborigines and strengthened their defense.😱



Therefore twelve tribes of the Israelites fought them and extended each of their territories.Some of them combined for it, and others did independently.😺


In general,we call the times from which those daxs to another time when a kingdom unified by ｻｳﾙ was formed Judges『士師時代』. It was from B.C the 13th century to an end of B.C the 11th century.💡


By the way,as to a way of expressing the time,『B.C the 11th and so on』,I'm not sure whether they are correct.No examples.😳

Continuation of last remark of mine.



士師 means the leaders of each tribe.They judged troubles in their tribes,moreover they led their tribes and fought their enemies.💡



There is an expression of ﾖｼｭｱ,and after it there is another ones of Judges in the Old Testament. There were plenty of stories of the Judges in it.🙋


While almost all of the Judges were based on historical facts,there was a legend such as Samson.😚


Samson had supernatural strength 怪力 and no one was matchless.He thoroughly beat a powerful enemy of the Israelites,the aborigines,what is called ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人.😤


By the way,a word of Palestine meant the earth of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人.The ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 bought off 買収 a lover of Samson,ﾃﾞﾘﾗ, and made her get out of a secret of his supernatural strength with a pillow talk寝物語 💪


A source of his supernatural strength was his hair,so when Samson was asleep fast,the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 did ……😱

When Samson was asleep with his head on ﾃﾞﾘﾗ's lap,the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 shaved his head,so he lost his supernatural strength.😱


The ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 captured him and scooped えぐる out of his eyes.He was put in chains and was made to grind a set of millstones 臼を挽かされた😥


However,by and by,his hair grew little by little,so his supernatural strength revived.When being summoned to a festival of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 as a show,Samson drew two gigantic posts up to him at a great shrine where there were some leading figures of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 and was a large crowd.💪


The great shrine collapsed with a heavy thud, and both Samson and the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 were dead.😱



Some plains beside seaside of the Palestine used to be a stronghold 拠点 of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人.They had sharp iron weapons and a party of two-wheeled vehicles which was mobile.😃



Contrary to it,the Israelites adopted bronze weapons, and their tribes were divided among themselves,so they couldn't match the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 in the least.😣

Continuation of the last remark of mine.



After being often suffered crushing defeats,the Israelites realized keenly all of the tribes united and had a powerful king as their leader.😒


There was a religionist named ｻﾑｴﾙ then,and he was popular among lots of people in the tribes,so they asked ｻﾑｴﾙ to make someone an Israelite lord.💡



ｻﾑｴﾙ warned『The lord will change into a tyrant 圧制者 eventually, and impose heavy taxes and labor on you.Besides it would stir up your children to a battlefield 戦場.』😠



However ｻﾑｴﾙ made a worrior named ｻｳﾙ become their lord.👑


After ｻｳﾙ,David and Solomon became the lord,so the Golden Age of the ancient Israelite came true.The Old Testament was editted with some data in coming ages 後世.☝



Therefore there some stories which are different from others little by little or another stories which were repeated,created or rewritten.😚

Continuation of the last remark of mine.



David wasn't a son of ｻｳﾙ,but the last one of ｴｯｻｲ who lived at Bethlehem. David used to be a shepherd.♈


By the way,there is often scenes of a tree of ｴｯｻｲ at stained glasses window in great churchs in Gothic style.🌱


They are kinds of family trees 家系図 of which shapes are trees. It's shown at whole high windows.It's a story of the New Testament that ｴｯｻｲ's son was David and David's descendant was Jesus Christ was shown as the family tree.💡



I'm going to return to my subject. There is a scene in which ｻｳﾙ,a king of the Israelites,found out David.ｻｳﾙ was suffering from a nervous breakdown ﾉｲﾛｰｾﾞbecause he was worried about the war with powerful enemy,ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人.😥


ｻｳﾙ wanted to forget his trouble, so he sought for a master player of a harp.Then David was summoned.🎵



ｻｳﾙ took fancy to 気に入る David and ordered David to do job which he carried weapons of the king.🙋

It's clear that David was an excellent singer songer writer in his lifetime,according to varied data.Almost all of the poems in the Old Testament were described as the ones of David.😃

A brave matchless soldier appeared from the army of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ and called in a very loud voice『Let's fight with a single combat 一騎打ち.The army which its loser belongs to admits they are beaten』😤


The people in army of the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ got scared so much that no one tried to stepped forward.Then David happened to delivere some food to his brothe who took part in the war and he steppdd forward. He said『I'll fight with him』😤



ｻｳﾙ was so impressed with his bravery that he made David put on his own armor,but he had never put on the armor so far,so he couldn't move as he liked.He took off it and took out something ……😃

Continuation of the last remark of mine.



Oh! I mame a mistake. I forgot expressing its title in the last remark of mine.😳



David took his cane and went to riverside. He picked up five smooth stones there and put them into a pouch and faced to his enemy,ｺﾞﾘｱﾄ.
David had a sling to throw stones for a shepherd. 　
Seeing a strange lanky ひょろひょろとした youth appear,ｺﾞﾘｱﾄ laughed at him scornfully,but David was a good at throwing at stones for his enemy.💡



ｺﾞﾘｱﾃ cut his forehead with the stones and fell down. David sprang on his enemy and pulled a sword of ｺﾞﾘｱﾄ and cut off his head.😱


While the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ's army was badly shaken with an unexpected result.the Israelites charged them with desperate acts 捨て身,so the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ's army took to flight.総崩れ🙌



By the way,there are two famous David's statue at Florence. The one is bronze and it looks an innocent boy with a great sword of ｺﾞﾘｱﾄ in his hand.☝



The other is Michelangelo's work. It looks gallant youth.It's in the nude 全裸 😳

Though David tried to fight with the powerful enemy then, Michelangelo's work is in the nude,for there is an expression of taking off his clothes in the Bible.🙋


A cloth which is hung over his shoulder is a string for throwing stones.An one end of the string is like a pouch, and he put stone in it,so he griped its string and swings around him,so he throwed at his enemy.😨


A sling with a cloth for throwing stones had been adopted everywhere in the world from the ancient time.🙋



It's known some shepherds in ｶﾅﾝ became proficient in throwing stones so as to drive back off wolves which tried to had their eyes on the sheep.♈



David was also one of them, so he picked up some stones which seemed to fly straight in the air on riverside.💡


Its description was so concrete that making David its hero had may be done, but an expert of throwing stones was actually in the army of ｻｳﾙ then.🙋

He gained lots of briliiant victories for powerful enemies and he rose in fame day by day.In the beginning ｻｳﾙ was pleased with them so much that he made David get married to his daughter.👰



In the meantime, David won fame so much that ｻｳﾙ envied him for his fame,so he tried to do away with him.💀



As trying to be murdered any number of times,David ran away, and led his skilled men and became active like a bandit 野武士.☝


He was run after by the ｻｳﾙ's army and he wandered from one place to another,and he went to live his old enemy,a lord of ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人.😔

Northern Israelites also took him as a leader, so an unified powerful nation of the Israelites was formed for the first time in its history.🎉


A king of David defeated the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 completely, and the ﾍﾟﾘｼﾃ人 were under control of the Israelites.David conquered another regions around his kingdom.Its great territory was from Damascus to the Arabic desert.👑



It was only an unified kingdom in a history of the Israelites and David has been a glorious symbolof the Israelites.

There are some naked expressions of David about his speeches and behaviors which weren't only bad but also good in the Bible.👼


One day, David took a nap and woke up.After that he was taking a walk on a roof of palace.A bathed woman attracted his attention.She was very beautiful.👩


David sent an errand to her and made it examine her.He found that she was a wife of ｳﾘﾔ whose master fought against enemies at front.Her name was ﾊﾞﾄ･ｼｪﾊﾞ👩


David sent the errand to her again and made her come to him.He had an affair with her.She came back to her home and she was pregnant, so she informed him of it.👶



David was worried what he had done.He called ｳﾘﾔ from the front of the war,finding some excuse.He asked ｳﾘﾔ plausible questions about the war.😒


David told him to go home and take good rest, but he didn't and stayed with others at their guardhouse.😚

David was worried about it so much that he took next step.He invited ｳﾘﾔ and had dinner with him.David made ｳﾘﾔ be drunken,but he left in the evening and stayed with David's retainers.He wouldn't go home.😏



David was so impatient that he turned to his cruel resort.He made ｳﾘﾔ go to his master,ﾖｱﾌﾞ with a message.Next things were written in the message.💀


『Send ｳﾘﾔ at the front line of the most violent battle in the war.Without him,withdraw and make him die in the battle』💀



Knowing her husband died,she was sorrowful about him.When the period of mourning was over 喪が明ける, David sent her his retainer and took charge of her.He made her his wife.😥

【A typhoon】


It was a heavy rain not only yesterday but also today.☔


I go to work by my scooter.When coming home,it rained in torrents 土砂降り.We have to run at a edge of roads with a scooter,so I did,but there are lot of more water than I expected there.😥



The edge of roads are a little lower than their centers because of draining 水はけ well,but it rained so heavy that the edge didn't drain very much.☔


Therefore when riding there with my scooter, I ended up being covered with splashes.Then I could see neither my front nor back. The splashes prevented me from watching. It was dangerous.I should have been more careful, but it was in the evening, and my eyesight is apt to fall then, so I couldn't see a lot of pool there.😚


To my joy,I didn't cause a traffic accident, but I thought I would express my experience with English.😚



By the way,when watching a news program,it said a typhoon would hit where I live tomorrow.I was wondering if it didn't finish yet……😥

A third son of David disobeyed his father and raised an army.David was fell into an awful predicament 窮地 because of his son at one time,but his third son was beaten and dead.💀



Next time,his fourth son thought his father, David would soon be dead,so he declaredhe would be next lord,elbowed his way past his father on the ladder to a ruler.😒



ﾊﾞﾄ･ｼｪﾊﾞ decided that her son,Solomon should be the next lord, so she pressed David who had a soft spot in his heart for ｱﾋﾞｼｬｸﾞ to admit his son, Solomon as his heir.😤


She made David nominate Solomon for the next lord.ﾊﾞﾄ･ｼｪﾊﾞ who used to be a wife of a retainer of a vassal 陪臣 reached to a position of absolute power. David fell in love with her who washed herself in a tub.She made use of it and won the position.😤


She killed her opponents one after another,and established the position as a powerful person.😨

Continuation from the last remark of mine.


Starting from the third son's raising army to ﾊﾞﾄ･ｼｪﾊﾞ's winning position,though to be exact,her son,Solomon did it,its story seems to be by far more interesting than any other ordinary novels.😁


It has been clear that Solomon made the people construct some magnificent shrines and palaces in Jerusalem,and set up large-scale military unit of two-wheeled vehicle,according to some records in coming age or archeological excavation 考古学的発掘🙋


Contrary to it,there has been another stories which were exaggerated,for example,he was by far wiser than others,or a queen of Sheba visited him.😱



The country of Sheba used to be in modern Yemen, and it thrived with an agricultural development and trade,but there wasn't the queen in historical records at all.😔



Scholars think a queen in a small country at northern of Arabia visited Solomon.After Solomon died,the kingdom of Israelites divided into north and south,so they declined😠

【Why do we express = as equality】


Even somebody who is poor at arithmetic knows marks such as ＋,－,÷,×, and＝,especially,＝ is useful.🙋


For instance,some people use ＝ in their sentences like next.


『You should not think a wife ＝ a housekeeper』


Considering the mark,＝, it's strange.As to another marks,＜ or ＞,we can guess each side which is open is bigger,but as for ＝,we seem to understand it means, but we don't.😠



An English doctor used ＝ as equality in the 16th century for the first time.It was two parallels that he focused on.💡


The two parallels are more equal than any other things,so it's said that he started to use ＝ as equality.Almost all of people seem to think ＝ fits for equlity,I'm sure.🙋


By the way, it's cool today.It may be natural,for a month is going to change from September to October. This year also approaches an end.Then I will have aged one more year.😚


When I was young,grown-ups around me used to say like that with a sigh.Then I thought it was natural,but I can understand them lately

【What kind of book is the New Testament?】


『It offers countless themes to the plastic art 造形美術and literature. There are some moving stories of human love in it』



At first,we should think it as four parts. As to the first,we call it the Gospels 福音書．It consists of four gospels,such as ﾏﾀｲ･ﾏﾙｺ･ﾙｶ･ﾖﾊﾈ.🙋


Its content is a life of Jesus,his speeches and behaviors.It tried to prove that Jesus was the God's son and he was a Saviour 救い主 for us human.☝



As for the second, it's the apostles' speeches and behaviors.It expressed propagation 布教 of Christianity of the apostles 使徒,especially,ﾊﾟｳﾛ and ﾍﾟﾃﾛ.⛪



As for the third, it's a compilation of letters which Jesus'disciples sent his believers or churches in each place.⛪



As to the fourth,it's the Revelation of ﾖﾊﾈ. It's a kind of religious literatuvre.It was written with enigmatic expressions only for the believers so as to avoid being pursued by rulers when persecutions for them were violent.⛪

I recommend the people who want to read the New Testament in order to deepen their understandings of European culture that they should read the four gospels and the records of the apostles' speeches and behaviors.🙋


They are about an half of the New Testament.Both the Gospels and the records are similar to tales,so even the people who know nothing about belief for the Christianity can read it with great interests.😁


Contrary to it,as to the compilation of the letters by the apostles and the Revelation,they look unapproachable unless they are the ones who try to study abnut the Christianity.☝



At least they should read the four kinds of gospels,for scenes which used to be themes for famous artistic works and literary ones appear one after another when reading them.😲



As for the four gospels,they expressed a life of Jesus,so their content resemble to some extent,in particular there are lots of common points in the gospels of ﾏﾀｲ､ﾏﾙｺ and ﾙｶ,but the one of ﾖﾊﾈ is

The gospel of ﾖﾊﾈ is unique,so there are lots of elements of Greek philosophy in it.As for an order of structure in the Bible,the gospel of ﾏﾀｲ is first, but as for the time when it was formed,the one of ﾏﾙｺ was older. It's said it was formed around 50A.D.😃



As to feature of the gospel of ﾏﾙｺ,there are little elements of fairy tales in it,so there are no stories about birth of Jesus at all.😚



The gospel starts from the days when Jesus was about 30 and he began to lead his life of preaching教えを説く.🙌


Its sentences are extremely plain and there are little emblishment 潤色 in it. It's said the gospel of ﾏﾙｺ informed the most faithfully that the people of churches in the beginning thought how Jesus was.🙋


Both of the gospels of ﾏﾀｲ and ﾙｶ were written around A.D.70.The gospel of ﾏﾙｺ was historical records of the ones of ﾏﾀｲ and ﾏﾙｺ.Moreover original data and opinions were added to the two gospels of ﾏﾀｲ and ﾙｶ.

David was the 14th descendant from Abraham,and the 14th descendant from David was and so on.The names of people goes on and on in the gospel.😥


There is an expression that Joseph,husband of Maria,and Jesus was born from Maria at the last part of the genealogy.😥


The Israelites believe that the Savior was a descendant of David, so the genealogy needed to be shown in the beginning.Needless to say,it wasn't a fact at all😚


Almost all of the Japanese who try to read the New Testament are tired of the lots of names of people and give up reading it though they don't read even half of the New Testament.😠

Interest rate is lowered,a judgement was given on the serious affair,a dispute broke out in foreign countries, and a celebrity got married to someone suddenly and so on.😁


In any case,there are lots of cases in which a TV camera is pointed at the general with a phrase such as 『We asked the people in a city some questions.🎤


Even if the caster reads the news,an anchorman or an expositor 解説者 analze the news, and a critic or a specialist say something important,we audience may not be always satisfied with their comments.😚


Therefore,the comments of the people in the city are essential to the program of news.🙋


It seems to be some places which are easy to be chosen for a man-in-the-street interview 街頭インタビュー,so they are standard spots for the staff of TV station which frequent.😁

Even if the govern was direct or indirect, all the Jews ere under strong pressure by the Roman Empire.😣


The Jews were forced to lead hard lives because of heavy tax.There was an important agreement between the Jews and the God.The jews made much of it more than anything, but the agreement was often violated because they were under the Roman Empire.😫



Therefore,the Jews were so indignant that desires anti-the Rome were filled with their hearts.😤

They took pride in obeying orderly religious rules which were decided about the whole things in their everyday life.😏

However,the poor couldn't obey the rules literally.😭

Jesus got off the ship and saw them. He felt a pity deeply,and cured sick persons among them.🙋



After that,he sat on the grass with no less than hundreds of crowds and they shared little bread and fish.They ate the foods.🍞


Jesus and his disciples ran away to northern region, but it wasn't a place where they could live in peace.Then Jesus determined to do a desperate thing.😤


He had propagated in ｶﾞﾘﾗﾔ where it was his local place, but his determination was he marched into Jerusalem which was chief city in Judea and stated his faith openly, and tried to give relief to hearts of lots of people of the world,preparing for his death.😤


Jesus and his party went south along the Jordan river as if they had avoid being attracted attention, and went for Jerusalem.😃
