The driving way of the wheel has been used for the robot for the probe in the planet so far, the Sojourner which is for the probe in the Mars is the typical one . The structure on the suspicion called the Rocker Bogie has been used,so it can go over an obstacle which is higher on the diameter of the wheel of the structure on the suspicion.

However, the running way of using the wheel isn’t always appropriate for the probe in the planet. Needless to say,if probing in a fixed area,the running way of using the wheel is by far better than any other way with regard to the reliability on its operation,or easiness for controlling.

However if making a thorough investigation in a tremendous area in the planet which has little atmosphere like Mars, flying way of moving by a balloon has been thought.
