《The structure on movement imitates the way of swimming of a fish》

There is other way of studying on the robot in the water. It’s what is called a robot of fish. Analyzing the way of moving on the fish,and making the robot imitate the way.

There are some of ways of moving its body in relation to the way of swimming of the fish.

The one has long fins on its body, and it gets a driving force by moving the fins like an eel. Other uses its whole body and swims with the tail and the triangle fin like a carp. Another gets the forcing power with the big tail and fin of which shape is crescent like a tuna.

Instead of a practical use, the robot of which shape is the fish has been used in an amusement institution or in an acquarium where a deep sea fish or an ancient fish are reproduced and is shown as appreciation one.

There is a science museum called Aquatomu in Fukui prefecture. An ancient fish, a coelacanth has been reproduced in 2001.
