【How do we get the uranium?】

《Refining the uranium.》

Even if we dig the uranium out of the mine,we can't only use it as fuel,but concentrate,so we need to refine it.😃

When refining the uranium,we start to melt uranium ore in sulfuric acid 硫酸.It's the solution of 硫酸塩.We add sodium hydroxide 水酸化ナトリウム to the solution.At last,we can get some powder of which uranium content 含有率 is about 60%.😃

It's vivid yellow,so we call it yellow cake.It's the yellow cake which we've treated internationally as the uranium.☀

【How do we concentrate the uranium?】

Uranium 235 accounts for no more than 0.7% in natural uranium.We have to raise the percentage so as to use it as fuel.We call the operation enrichment.Then we turn the uranium into gaseous body 気体.We call it 六フッ化ウラン.

【Concentration】

The concentration itself is simple and mechanical,so it's just that we only have to put the 六フッ化ウラン on a centrifuge 遠心分離機.Then the light part remains in its center,and the heavy one scatter around the center.😃
