【A sentence of which subject is an interrogative】

【主語が疑問詞の文】

Who is running in the park?

誰が公園で走ってますか？。

Tom is.

トムです。

When answering,the phrase of running in the park behind Tom is,we omit it.

答える時、Tom is の後ろの running in the park の句は省略します。

Example

Ken knows the fact.

ケンがその事実を知ってます。

An interrogative sentence of the example.

例文の疑問文です。

Who knows the fact?

だれがその事実を知ってますか？

Ken does.

ケンです。

When answering, instead of repeating the phrase of knows the fact,we use does.

答える時、knows the fact の句を繰り返す代わりに、does を使います。

【A sentence of a tag question which means of calling its special attention,or confirmation】

【念押し、確認を意味する、付加疑問文】

When calling its special attention,or confirming,we use a sentence of a tag question such as『is it?』or『isn't it?』

念を押したり確認したりする時、『～ですね？』『～ではありませんね？』などの付加疑問文を使います。

When calling its special attention,we lower its intonation.

念を押す時、抑揚を下げます。

When confirming,we raise its intonation.

確認する時、抑揚を上げます。
