There are other privileges on American soldiers.

For example, a car belonged to the U.S.army passed through a superhighway, or a toll road, its driver doesn`t pay the fee.

As to a driver`s license, if there is the one which was got in America, or the one of the U.S.army, they can drive a car in Japan, even if they don`t get the license in Japan.

When foreign people go into Japan, they need a passport, but without having it, the members in the U.S.army can go into Japan.
