【The way of walking with its two feet】

《The dynamic way of walking》

The way of walking on the human is called the dynamic way of walking. The way of walking is trying to lose its balance positively,and moves its weight. The losing balance is taken back by the other foot with other step.

When stepping forth,its balance isn’t kept,so it can’t stop on the way like the way of static walking.

The robot which walks with its two feet by Honda has realized the way of dynamic walking,especially ASIMO which appeared at the end of 2000 expects its next movement when walking, and it can move its center of gravity according to its expectation.

As a result,it can’t only move forward,but turn left and right smoothly,but its way of walking looks unnatural as human even if it’s ASIMO,for it has an upper part of body,but its walk is almost done by its lower part of body alone.

If walking or running with the same speed of the human,using the arm is important. When running we usually swing our arms.
