There was a threat against the military base in America in which Japan wasn`t allowed to take part. If Japan received the threat against Japan as it was, there was a fear that Japan may be involved with a dispute or a war against other nation.

The military force in America could take advantage of the military base in Japan so as to maintain peace and safety in the Far East, but where is the Far East?

Japanese government answered it`s north of Philippine, including Taiwan and South Korea.

If the military force stationed in Japan took into action to an international dispute in Taiwan, or in South Korea, was Japan involved in the dispute or the war?

That fear of being involved in the war spread out among the Japanese .
