【What are gusukus dotted in Okinawa prefecture?】

We can't quite accept that a gusuku is a castle,but therefore we find it interesting.There is a spiritual world of Ryukyu people in the inner part of the stacked moss-covered stones.😃

城,which is called gusuku in Okinawa prefecture.😃

Okinawa has plenty of family names which are different from those in other area.A lot of family names in Okinawa include 城 such as 金城、大城、宮城、玉城、and 山城.Place names of the prefecture are also the same.🏯

We've" thought the names are deeply connected with the castles there.We apply the word of 城 for the names,so we believe they are gusukus,castles in Okinawa prefecture.🏯

When looking at the ruins of the castles like 首里城、今帰仁、中城、勝連、and 座喜味,the gusuku leaves no room for doubt about being the castle.🏯

However,all the gusukus aren't the castles,so it's complicated,for there are no less than 200 gusukus in Okinawa.😉
